Taurus
Taurus is not his name, it's what people call him. He's a seasoned auto-vigilante who was Jade's partner. Originally from New England, where he was a poet, his wife and daughter were killed by criminals - don't ever bring it up with him, though. He came to the desert to clear his head and never left. Instead he figured it was time to start cleaning up society his way. After a while he hooked up with Jade and has been driving together ever since. Taurus drives a '66 Jefferson Sovereign with a bull's skull on the hood. He calls it "Eloise." @*%# with Taurus and you'll get the horns.
Jade
Partner to Taurus, Jade is whip-quick, hot like a lick of flame and an ace behind the wheel. She's Daisy Duke, Mario Andretti and a Molotov Cocktail rolled into one. Jade has had a secret life as an auto-vigilante for some time. Her family never knew...
Skeeter
Skeeter is... different. He has no known family and people have been taking advantage of him all his life. He's probably wanted by the law for crimes he doesn't even know he committed. Eventually got a job on the one of the pit crews for Champion Motors, then left with Jade when she decided it was time to join the fight. One thing can be said - Skeeter is the best damn mechanic around and can fix anything. He'll follow you and Taurus in his van and cannibalize the vehicles you destroy. Then when the action slows down, he'll hook up with you and do any salvage work you want done. The weird thing about Skeeter is that he often sees things more clearly than anyone ever could - he can say some pretty dark shit. A word of advice - watch out when he drives, he seems to be narcoleptic.
Natty Dread
This smooth-talking auto-merc is the leader of the Voodoo Riders. There are two things he doesn't like: Pigs and Cowboys. And he's here to take'em down. What does he like? The ladies, of course. But, there's nothing better than a dead cowboy... well, except two dead cowboys.
Supporting Characters
| Hell Toupee | Helicopter pilot and point-man extraordinaire, Toupee occasionally drives other vehicles, like the cargo truck in Episode 5: Stop 'N' Go. Think Murdock in the A-Team, but minus all of the craziness. In Episode 13: Allies, Taurus and Toupee are stuck inside a quarantine zone while Skeeter holds off the creepers. Later, he provides a helicopter-escape route for Taurus in Episode 19: Assassination. Post Nitro Pack, he joins the Board of Directors of the Auto-Vigilante Guild. |
| Radiator Mother | A Scottish-accented bloke that drives a Ransom Marshal. Like everyone, he seems to have a contemptuous relationship with Taurus. Despite that, he (kind of) and Taurus destroy the oil depots in Episode 3: Bad Fuel. Mother's there to welcome Taurus and Jade to the Holy Land (rendezvous point) in Episode 4: Two Days Before. His Ransom Marshal was stolen by Notorious Bob in Episode 10: Mother. In Episode 15: Decoys, he attempts to send supplies to Taurus disguised in hearses, but is unfortunately thwarted by Natty Dread. |
| Wolf Raiders | Three of the Wolf Raiders show up at the end of Episode 8: Betrayed to receive a shipment transferred from undercover schoolbusses. Later, in Episode 14: Nice Try, it's mentioned that they helped Taurus hit up the Voodoo Riders back in Amarillo. Unfortunately, they are listed in I '76 manual as missing and later as dead early in the original I '76 game. |
| Disco Cat | Cat's a prominent Voodoo Rider member, dropping lots of mission info on Natty Dread. In Episode 13: Shutdown, he's in constant communication with Dread, keeping him in the loop of current going-ons. In Episode 15: Decoys, he serves a similar role. Episode 16: Foxy Cat sees Disco Cat and other Voodoo Riders hanging out in the trailers just outside the Foxy Cat as police raid the place. Post Nitro Pack, he pursues Groove Champion, where the two meet in a final showdown. |

| Preacher | This crazy goon sliced up his own family in the name of the lord. While supposedly iced by Radiator Mother, he's back from the dead in Episode 7: Piece be with You. |
| Three Blind Mice | Call sign for schoolbus drivers hauling goods in Episode 8: Betrayed. |
| Four Banger, Crucifier | These vigilantes were ambushed while escorting Three Blind Mice in Episode 8: Betrayed. (Too bad they don't make it.) |
| King Hen | Shit-talking auto-merc who's wrangled with Taurus before. Featured in Episode 8: Betrayed. |
